Saturday evening was given over to a lavish party featuring a huge jazz orchestra, Swinga- roux, dining and dancing in one of the Hammond Air Center's hangars. A fleet of jet fuel tankers bearing the Hammond Air Cen- ter name were kept busy all day fuelingthe several jets who call the airport home, and those of visitors who had flown in for the festivities. Obvious to all who attended was the fact that a new era in flight has begun at the regional airport.
