"TEDDY" KRAFT Freddie E "Teddy" Kraft, 76, Ponchatoula, LA, died Wednes- day, April 20, 2011, in North Oaks Medical Center. He was born on Monday, November 26, 1934, in Ponchatoula, LA, son of the late Fritz Paul and Hazel Marsalis Kraft. He was a commercial fisherman all his life, and fished for Middendorf's for over 42 years. He was a US Army Veteran and an avid farmer. He loved to grow tomatoes and strawberries. Teddy leaves behind many won- derful family members, friends, neighbors and his little dog Dixie who loved him dearly. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Patricia "Patsy" Keaghey Kraft, daughter, Lisa Kraft, son & daughter-in-law, Michael and Angela Kraft, and his grandchildren, Hannah and Evan Kraft. He is preceded in death by his sister, Helen K. Settoon. Friends were received on Friday, April 22, and on Saturday, April 23, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatou- la until services were held in funeral home chapel, with Rev. Jackie Palmer officiating. Interment will was in the Wetmore Cemetery Ponchatoula. WALTER JOSEPH "LIL BOOTSY'' THIBODEAUX III Walter Joseph "Lil Bootsy" Thibodeaux III, 58, Hammond, formerly of Ponchatoula, died Saturday, April 23, 2011 He was born on Tuesday, February 17, 1953, in Metairie, son of the late Walter Joseph Thibodeaux II and the late Nelwyn Thibodeaux. Surviving are daughter, Melissa Thibodeaux, son, and daugh- ter-in-law Christopher J. and Melissa Thibodeaux, grandchil- dren, Faith Ratcliff, Nathan, Taylor and Talan Thibodeaux. Friends were received Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. JANET CALDWELL GOMEZ Janet Caldwell Gomez, 60, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at North Oaks Medical Center. She was a native of North Carolina, a 20 year resident of Texas City, TX and resident of Pon- chatoula. Janet was a computer aided drafter for Shell Oil Company. Janet leaves behind her husband of 30 years, Louis Gomez; daugh- ter, Wendy Hoots Shirley; grandchildren, Kristie Michelle Shirley and Sophie Reanna Hoots. She is also survived by three sisters, Nell Testerman, Sally Wood and Mac Pugh; two brothers, Ray and Gary Caldwell. Preceding Janet in death were her mother, Pearl Chatham Caldwell; father, John William Caldwell; two brothers, Tom and Herb Caldwell. Visitation was held at the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23, 2011, followed by religious services conducted by Rev. David Correira. Interment will follow in Sandhill Cemetery in Ponchatoula.
