CHARLES "PAPPY" WALLACE
Charles "Pappy" Wallace Brecher, 72, Central, Louisiana,
passed away, Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Baton Rouge General
Medical Center.
He was born on Saturday, December 20, 1941, in Ponchatoula,
La., son of the late Wallace Brecher and the late Lurline Newman
Brecher.
Surviving are wife of 46 years, Joan Durbin Brecher, three
daughters, Wendy BrecherDawson, Jessica Brecher Wood and hus-
band Jeff Wood and Jodi Brecher Pipes and husband Cliff Pipes,
seven grandchildren, Nicolas LeRoy, John Hayden Wood, Hannah
Mae Dawson, Ashton Wood, Emery Pipes, Ellison Pipes and Eloise
"LuLu" Pipes, brother, Kenny Brecher and sister, Yvonne Brecher.
Friends will be received Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 6:00 pm
until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ham-
mond.
Visitation will resume on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 8:00 am un-
til Funeral Services begin at 10:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son
Funeral Home - Hammond.
Interment will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery Ponchatoula,
Louisiana.
JOAN BAHM REED
Joan Bahm Reed, Independence, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at
her home. She was born May 12, 1920 in Independence and was
94 years of age. She received her Master's of Education degree
from LSU. She was an active member of Tangipahoa Volunteers
for Family and Community (TVFC) with 58 years of service.
Joan is survived by two daughters, Susan R. Dreher, Indepen-
dence and Elizabeth R. Erkenswick, Chicago, IL; five sons, Thomas
E. Reed, Amite, Richard W. Reed, William S. Reed, Daniel C. Reed
and David M. Reed, all of Independence; one brother, Glenn A.
Bahm, Houston, TX, fifteen grandchildren and nine great grand-
children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lionel Reed
and her sister. Elizabeth B. Sawyer.
Visitation was held at St. Dominic Catholic Church on Thurs-
day, May 29, 2014.
Services were conducted by Fr. Howard Adkins. Interment fol-
lowed in Stevens Cemetery, Independence.
KEITH MICHAEL CONSTANTINE
Keith Michael Constantine a resident of Loranger passed after
a seven month battle with leukemia at Children's Hospital in New
Orleans on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. He was born November 15,
1993 in Metairie and was 20 years of age. He thought life was
great, always smiling and loved to make others smile, too. He was
a graduate of Loranger High School where he wore the #76 on the
football team.
Keith is survived by his parents, Ray Keith Constantine, Sr. and
Brenda Silva Constantine, Loranger; sister, Brittany Constantine,
Loranger; brother, Ray Keith Constantine, Kenner; brother in law,
Kevin Richard Smith, Loranger and numerous aunts, uncles and
cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents. The family would
like to thank everyone who has helped through this difficult time
along with the doctors and staff at Children's Hospital in New Or-
leans.
Special thanks to everyone at Jimmy John's especially John
Wall, Bryan Cryer and Blaine Shaw.
In Keith's memory, the family requests awareness for Leukemia
and blood donations to be made.
CHARLES HOWARD JACOBSEN
Charles Howard Jacobsen, 73, went peacefully to heaven at
11:30 a.m. on June 1, 2014 in his home. He was born September
8, 1940. He was born again and baptized in the name of the Fa-
ther, Son, and Holy Ghost on October 27, 2013. He retired from
the United States Air Force after serving three tours to Vietnam,
four years in intelligence at the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and
finally retiring from his favorite place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He is survived by his brother, Will Jacobsen and his wife Jane;
sister-in-law, Lena; nephews Jim, Lane, Paul, and Jerry Wayne
Jacobsen; niece Kim Jacobsen Langlois. He also leaves behind
his special cousins and caregivers, Ricky, Joy, and Crystal Pierre,
Amie, Kelly, Cayden Cuti, and Dickie Jacobsen.
