Kemp, Ill. the following individuals pleaded guilty in district court, Arqite. before Judge Joseph,,( Anzalon6: Darren Lassabe, 18 of Ponchatoula. to the March II. 1984 theft of cash belonging to William Canfield, He was sentenced to 90 days in the parish jail. sentence suspended and was placed on two years active probation with the special condition that he make restitution to the victim Delwin L. Willie. 28 of Ponchatoula. to the March 3, 1985 charge of illegally carrying a weapon. He was ordered to pay a fine of $300.00 or serve 90 days in the parish jail. Arrested Booked on recewing stolen goods was Charles Kennedy, 53, 750 North First St.. Ponchatoula. He is accused of having in his possession a 9 9-horse power outboard motor belonging to the Hammond District Office of the La. Department of Transportation on US 51 North. The motor was reported stolen in March of 1984 and the stolen property was allegedly in the suspect's possession in February of this year. according to reports by arresting detective Mike Sticker. A burglary was reported to deputies by a resident of the Sable Lan, e area in Pumpkin Center. according to Thursday reports. A kerosene heater, a cabinet-model sewing machine and a 19-inch color television were reported taken, according to reports given deputy Hank King The burglary of the trailer is thought to have occurred between Monday and Thursday, reports indicate. Sheriff's detectives arrested three people on burgbry charges June 4 in connection with a residential burglary in Baptist in March of 1985. according to Sheriff Layrisson. Booked in the case by detectives Larry Westmoreland and Mike Sticker were: Emile Silessi. 30. RL 2, Box 209- A. Tickfaw; Kathy Savaski, 25. 772 West Yellow Water Road. Hammond: and Shannon Dugas, 19. Apt. 8, St. Patricks Apartments, Ponchatoula. According to the case reports, the three are accused of breaking into a private residence on the Durbin Road in March and taking a VCR, a shortwave radio and a telephone answering machine. The property was recently recovered in Livingston Parish. detectives added. All three were booked into the parish jail June 4 and are being held in lieu of $100,000 bonds each, deputies said.
