Joann Fayard honored
D.C. Reeves Billing Clerk Joann Fayard was awarded
the 2009-10 Billing Clerk of the Year for Tangipahoa Par-
ish. Also, Mrs. Fayard placed third in the state for an entry

Garden of the Month goes to Austins
The Ponchatoula Gardenettes have chosen the yard and
plantings at the home of Glen and Brittany Austin on Pleas-
ant Ridge Extension to receive the Garden of the Month
award for September. The spacious yard includes many va-
rieties of shrubs and flowers including: Knockout Roses,
Chrysanthemum, Mexican Heather, Juniper, Canter Lilly,
Banana trees, Marigolds, Sweet Olive, Ferns, Iris and Hi-
