Lloyd Albin, 64, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 1
North Oaks Medical Center. He was a resident of Albany.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 46 years, Darlene Albin; daugh-

PPD Report
Chief Bry Layrisson reports
that on Thursday, September 23
the police department respond-
ed to a one vehicle accident at
the corner of West Pine Street
and South 8th Street.
Upon arrival officers lo-
cated a gold Toyota Camry on
the south side of the roadway.
Further investigation revealed
the driver, Bruce Finch, 49, of
14154 Happywoods Road, was
partially out of the vehicle and
a passenger still in the vehicle.
The vehicle was traveling
eastbound when for no appar-
ent reason ran off the roadway
striking a fire hydrant and then
a utility pole, according to Lay-
risson.
Acadian Ambulance and the
Ponchatoula Fire department
responded to render medical at-
tention. Finch was pronounced
dead at the scene. A family
member at the scene stated that
Finch had a medical condition
that could have been a contrib-
uting factor to the accident. An
autopsy was to be performed to
determine if in fact a medical
condition did exist.
The passenger was treated
and released at the scene.
