Roll call vote was as follows: Yeas: 10 (Forrest, Varnado, Joseph, Bruno, Muscarello, Bankston, Wells, Vial, Lavine, Cortez) Nays: None Absent: Nolle Not Voting: None b) Approval of Part Time Hire- A motion was made by Mr. Muscarello and seconded by Mr. Bankston to ratify the hiring one part time firefighter at $10 per hour. Other Fire Matters - Chief Paul Collura addressed the Fire Board Commission- ers regarding issues that he states he is having with bills being paid late. After a lengthy discussion, no action was taken. An award was presented to Independence Volunteer Fire Department for the hard work and dedication in maintaining their PIAL rating while without an appointed Chief. A motion was made by Mr. Bruno and seconded by Mr. Joseph to go into execu- tive session regarding a letter received from the Office of State Examiner. Roll call vote was as follows: Yeas: 10 (Forrest, Varnado, Joseph, Bruno, Muscarello, Bankston, Wells, Vial, Lavine, Cortez) Nays: None Absent: None Not Voting: None A motion was made by Mr. Bruno and seconded by Mr. Forrest to exit executive session.
