B PAGE Unity Baptist Church Members of the Unity Baptist Church of Ponchatoula on North Thibodeaux Road showed the right holiday spirit recently when they held their first annual Thanksgiving dinner for senior citizens. Sixty seniors were treated to a sumptuowi meal. Those who could make it to the church came as guests. Those who could not had their meals brought to them. Art classes for young people Noted local artist Terrie Frisbie l, egins a second series of art classes at the Levy Building in Hammond on January 14. Designed for young people ages 8 - 15, this session of classes will focus on handling larger masses and perspective. Media for the course include charcoal, pastels, and oil. Ms. Frisbie, who studied at the Ruskin School of Art. Oxford, spe- cializes in linoleum and wood cut prints. Her work, which has won regional and statewide recognition, was recently shown at the Guild Levy Building as part of the exhibit "Six from Tangipahoa." The series of eight sessions is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays through February 18 at the Levy Building. 217 East Thomas Street.
