at Rousseau's Lounge,-
Kraft graduated from Poncha-
toula High School. Her grandparents
are the late Mr. and Mrs. Pat Keaghey,
the late Mr. Fritz Kraft and the late Mrs.
Hazel Wagner, all of Ponchatoula.
The future groom graduated from
Greensburg High School. His grand-
parents are Lois Pittman of Kentwood,
the late B.W Pittman, the late R.W.
Holton Sr. and the late Bessie David,
all of Kentwood.
All friends and relatives are invited to
attend.
Terry Rome and Karla Newman,
Ponchatoula High School
majorettes, were recognized at an
April 16 banquet for their
achievements during the year. They
participated in all football game
shows, parades, and majorette camp,
where both received superior ratings
and trophies. At the banquet jackets
and letters were added to these
honors. Murian Summers, Debbie
Armstrong and Peggy Wells
sponsored the 1984-85 Majorettes.

meeting were read and

A report was given by the chairman of
each committee and all gave a good
report on what had been accomplished
during the past month.
The club voted to give the Poncha-
toula Police Department money to
purchase a bulletproof vest for one of
the police officers who so generously
give of themselves to protect our town.
The drawing for the beautiful quilt
donated to the club by Jean Prevost
was held and the lucky winner was
Marguerit Lala.
All held hands and closed the meeting
with the Lord's Prayer.

shows the Flanders Field of Crosses, A
WWI field helmet and rifle with a large
red poppy under the title.
