Some 15 years ago my mother asked me to find more about her family and gave me many documents to assist in this research. We spent many hours recall- ing what she remembered and brought to mind those stories that were related to me by my grandparents and older rela- tives. It has been rather time- consuming, but I have now reached a point where I am pre- pared to do some serious writ- ing about our family. Perhaps in the next month or so it will be ready to print for distribution to my family. In the process of gathering this information, the research nale, the LSU Tigers are an as- tounding 10-1. With a win over Arkansas, the Tigers will head to the SEC championship game in Atlan- ta, Georgia. First things first though. The Razorbacks are always a tough opponent for LSU. That won't be much of a problem, and LSU will run roughshod over Arkan- sas. The final score will look something like 31-14. Following the dismantling of the Razorbacks, the Georgia Bulldogs will be waiting in the Georgia Dome. If you recall, Georgia is the only team that has beaten the Tigers this season. The Bulldogs came just a couple yards short PLEASE SEE PAGE 4 Happy Anniversary August 29 - Sammy & Trudy Perrin, Joseph & Joyce Corbett, Corey & Ashley Dufreche, August 30 - Warren & Elaine Charbonnet, Byrd & Debbie Corbett September 1 - Lee & Janie Settoon, Allen & Kim Basso, Ray & Laurie Stevens, Dan & Wendy Keller September 2 - Roy & Mary Threeton, Leigh Ann & Dex- ter Partridge, David & Melissa Schliegeimeyer September 3 - Bobby & Mar- sha Dunnington, Bill & Janna Helton, James R & Lois H.
