Mona was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend, who touched the lives of many people and will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Mona was a longtime member of French Corner Baptist Church, where she enjoyed teaching Sun- day School and Vacation Bible School. Along with being devoted to her family and church, Mona was also a talented seamstress. Mona leaves behind her hus- band of 56 years, George Mey- era, Sr; sister, Opal Martinez; brother, Elwin Wax and wife Pat, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. Mona was preceded in death by her son, George Meyers, Jr.; parents, Houston Harold Wax and Myrtle Mitchell.
