DON'T LET DEPRESSION
GET OUT OF
HAND
Depression is a disease!
Accordin to the latest
stattsttcs from the National
Institutes of Mental
Health, in any given
six-month period, 9.4
million adults
or 6% of the adult
population, will suffer
forms of depression
severe enough to require
professional help!
Not just an ordinary case of
the "blues," but prolonged
periods of withdrawal, bouts of
crying, inability to concentrate,
drastic changes in sleeping and
eating habits. It's sometimes a
symptom of depression.
Often. if you know why you're
depressed, you talk it out
with a friend, accept your feelings
and learn from them. But a
vague sense of worthlessness
month after month may mean
you need professional help.
Only when you acknowledge
your sadness can you begin to
hear the laughter in your heart
again. And it is there.
