The Rotary Club. Jaycees. and the Community Garden Club will now have to pay their entire bill. The council decided to discontin the service, after Council-ai-large Julian Dufreche proposed the change of council's regular monthly meeting Thurs- day night• Dufreche said. City Hall will start issuing permits Monday. A permit will not be issued unless city has a record of the applicant's paying deposits on water, sewerage and garbage pick up. Jeanne Zaleski. Chamber of Commerce President. presented the council with a $75 check from the Ponchatoula Junior High School for the new alligator cage. The Chamber is now going into its third year of fund raising to build the new, more humane, cage.
